Emma is a fully qualified and educated holistic therapist who was interested in a website to expand the availability of her services. However, she wasn’t sure about starting up a website as she had never done anything like it before.
Emma came to see us and we told her about all the benefits she could gain from having a website for her business. She agreed and we got to work creating one for her.
As Emma had no previous website the first step in this case was to get a domain name for the website. We researched the particular areas in which Emma would be working and came up with a domain name which would be both attractive and appropriate to potential users.
We then set about setting up the structure of the website so that it would be easy for visitors to find the information that they needed about the services that Emma offered. We worked with Emma so that she could create an about me page explaining her background and experience and we also helped create an FAQ page so that potential customers would have a source of information regarding potential questions that they may have about Emma’s services.
Emma had also requested a way for her to manage her business online so we installed an online booking system on the site which gave customers the information on all the treatments which were available including how long they lasted and the prices and also allowed them to book online. This saved Emma vital time as this meant she could manage her diary online rather than having to deal with lots of phone calls.
We also helped Emma set up both a Facebook and Twitter page and then integrated both of these with her site.
Emma is now running her business online and customer’s reception to her new website has been excellent.
